Warranties & Policies

 

Melee Diamonds

1). All of our diamonds are natural diamond. All diamonds are checked and tested thoroughly using the DeBeers Synth Detect machine before being put into stock for sale. We take great pride in ensuring that we screen 100% accurately for lab grown diamonds. Should you ever find that a diamond you received from is synthetic you can return the item to us for a full credit. 

2). Return of melee that has been invoiced must be done so within 30 days of invoicing or will be subject to a $50 restocking fee. 

3). Melee memos are 7 days. We do not offer long term melee memos. After 7 days, the diamonds should be purchased or returned. 

 

Certified Diamonds 

1). All our certified diamonds are graded and certified by GIA. 

2). Our GIA certified diamonds are listed on Rapnet showing the memo price and cash price. We do not negotiate or take offers for our diamonds. 

3). To receive the cash price, payment of the diamond must be received within 7 days of memo date. 

After 7 days purchased diamonds are invoiced on 30 day terms. 

4). Certified diamond memos are 7 days. We do not offer long term memos for certified diamonds. After the 7 days, the diamonds should be purchased or returned. 

5). Original GIA Certificates are released when the diamond has been purchased and the diamond has been invoiced. 

 

Estate Jewelry

1). All Estate Jewelry items are sold "as is" without any express or implied warranties or guarantees. This means that you are assuming any risks associated with the purchase and use of the Estate Jewelry item, including any risks arising from defects or damages. 

2). Please be aware that the Estate Jewelry item may have wear, damage, or other defects not visible or apparent at the time of sale. We want to be transparent with you about any potential defects, and we encourage you to ask us any questions you may have before making your purchase. 

3). You have 30 days from the day of sale to return the item if you are not satisfied.

4). If your item needs to be repaired and is able to be repaired our expert jewelers would be happy to repair your item at our wholesale cost plus inbound and return shipping charges.

5). Please note that the weight of diamonds and colored gemstones provided on our platform or literature are estimated and may vary from the stated weight. As a result, we cannot be held responsible for any discrepancies in the actual weight of the stones.

 

Closeout Jewelry

1). All Closeout Jewelry items are sold "as is" without any express or implied warranties or guarantees. This means that you are assuming all risks associated with the purchase and use of the Closeout Jewelry item, including any risks arising from defects or damages. 

2). Please be aware that the Closeout Jewelry item may have wear, damage, or other defects not visible or apparent at the time of sale. We want to be transparent with you about any potential defects, and we encourage you to ask us any questions you may have before making your purchase. 

3). You have 30 days from the day of sale to return the item if you are not satisfied. 

4). If the item is damaged, or if it needs refurbishment due to normal wear and tear (and if it can be repaired), we will endeavor to contact the original manufacturer for a free repair on your behalf. If the original manufacturer will not repair the item for any reason, White Pine Wholesale will not be responsible for any costs.

5). If your item is able to be repaired, and will not be repaired for free by the original manufacturer, our expert jewelers would be happy to repair your item at our wholesale cost plus inbound and return shipping charges.

 

CAD Jewelry Production

1). Throughout the first year of the purchase, as long as the jewelry item goes through normal wear and tear, the sale will be covered by our one-year limited warranty for manufacturing defects. 

2). Please note that warranty repairs are based upon White Pine Wholesale’s inspection and sole determination and expressly exclude coverage for excessive wear and tear and/or physical/accidental abuse, loss and theft.

3). Please note that our 1-year limited warranty will not qualify our customer for a refund of any kind. 

4). Repairs or alterations conducted by a jeweler to the item other than White Pine Wholesale post purchase, or warranty service performed by anyone other than White Pine Wholesale will void this warranty as we cannot guarantee the quality of this work. 

5). If the item is damaged, or if it needs refurbishment due to abnormal wear and tear (and if it can be repaired), our expert jewelers would be happy to repair your item at our wholesale cost plus inbound and return shipping charges. 

6). Warranty coverage is available only to the business who purchased the covered product directly from us, and is not transferable. 

7). White Pine Wholesale disclaims any liability for consequential or incidental damages for breach of written or implied warranty of any item, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Our warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply.

 

Shipping

1). White Pine ships all items FedEx, either overnight for $27 or 2nd day for $15 (only available for packages of $800 value or less). All packages are fully insured.

2). Customers are responsible for shipping charges when purchasing an item. 

3). White Pine does not supply return shipping labels.  Customers are responsible for shipping and insurance for all products that are being returned. 

 

Payments

1). Payments are due as specified on the invoice.  Calculated by taking the invoice date and adding the number of days specified in the terms section of the invoice.

2). Payment methods: Payments can be made by:

i). Check.

ii). ACH – on request, at no charge, we can send a QuickBooks link for payment by electronic check.

iii). Credit Card – on request we can send a QuickBooks link for payment by credit card, these payments will be subject to a 3.5% credit card fee.

3). Late payments - Invoices that are not paid by the due date are subject to:

 i). A late fee of $50 per invoice.

ii). Interest accruing from the due date at 1% per month.

iii). All of our reasonable collection costs, including attorney and collection agency fees.
