WHY RECYCLED MELEE?

Recycled melee delivers a meaningful cost advantage over newly mined goods — without compromising on make, color, or clarity. Because we source domestically and recut in-house, we control quality at every step and pass the margin directly to you.
Our inventory is deep and always in stock. Order what you need, when you need it, and have it on your bench the next morning — fully insured, via FedEx overnight.
Every parcel is tested with the De Beers Synth Detect machine — multiple times, before redistribution and upon any return — so you can sell natural with confidence.
WHAT SETS OUR MELEE APART
Most melee suppliers create hidden costs through poor calibration, inconsistent grades, and opaque pricing. Here is how we solve each of those problems.
Problem: Wide size variance means sorting time, rejections, and production delays on your bench.
Solution: We calibrate every parcel to ±0.05mm of each mm size. Custom sizing requests accommodated on request.
Problem: Suppliers push lower color and clarity grades to protect their own margins — you absorb the inconsistency.
Solution: We grade and sort all diamonds to strict GIA standards. What you order is what arrives — no surprises.
Problem: Flat stones, thick girdles, and weak cuts force you to reject a percentage of every order before a stone is set.
Solution: We recut all recycled diamonds to VG+ makes. No flat stones, no thick girdles. Our rejection rate is less than 1%.
Problem: Getting accurate melee prices from most suppliers requires a phone call, a wait, and a negotiation.
Solution: Our melee price list is accessible to trade account holders and updated to reflect current market conditions. No calls, no hidden fees.
OUR PROCESS & QUALITY STANDARDS
Every parcel follows the same rigorous sequence before it reaches you: sourcing → recutting to VG+ makes → calibration to ±0.05mm → grading to GIA standards → Synth Detect verification → shipping. There are no shortcuts in that chain.
The result is a consistent, ready-to-set product. Less time sorting and rejecting on your end means more stones set per hour and more margin per piece.

WHY WHITE PINE
We've been one of the world's largest wholesalers of recycled melee for over a decade. Here's what that means in practice:
DEEP, ALWAYS-IN-STOCK INVENTORY
We carry a broad range of sizes, shapes, and qualities — ready to ship. No backorders, no waiting on a memo return from another client before your order can fill.
CONSISTENT ASSORTMENTS, LOT TO LOT
We grade to GIA standards and recut to VG+ makes so every parcel matches the last one. You can build a production process around our supply without re-sorting or re-grading every order.
PUBLISHED PRICING, NO NEGOTIATIONS
Our wholesale price sheets are published and consistently honoured — no hidden fees, no pricing that shifts between quote and invoice. What you see is what you pay.

FULL CUT VS. SINGLE CUT
Full Cut melee has 57–58 facets, mirroring the proportions of larger stones. It is the standard for contemporary production — maximum brilliance, consistent visual weight around a center diamond.
Single Cut melee has 17 facets and less brilliance. Still relevant for vintage reproduction and antique-style work, but Full Cut is the default for most production applications today.
PRICING
We update our melee price list regularly to reflect the very latest market conditions — so what you're looking at is always current, never a cached rate from last quarter.
Pricing is based on total carat weight with no hidden fees or adjustments at invoice. What you see is what you pay.

TRADE FAQs
What size tolerances do you hold on calibrated parcels?
We calibrate all melee to ±0.05mm of each stated mm size. Custom sizing requests are also accommodated — contact us with your requirements.
Can I order a matched parcel for a specific production job?
Yes. Give us your size, quality, and quantity requirements and we'll pull a matched parcel from inventory. Custom requests are accommodated where possible — reach out to our team directly.
What memo terms do you offer?
We offer 7-day memo terms on qualifying inventory. Contact us to set up a trade account and discuss memo access and volume arrangements.
How do you verify that parcels are 100% natural?
Every parcel is run through the De Beers Synth Detect machine multiple times — before redistribution and again upon any return. We also offer 100% natural-only parcels for customers who require it.
Does GIA certify melee?
GIA certifies some melee but does not certify stones below 0.15ct. We grade all goods to GIA standards in-house. Certified inventory is available — contact us for current stock.

Contact our team for current minimums — they vary by product and assortment. Pricing is based on total carat weight and you can order by weight or number of stones. Our price sheet is published online at all times.
How are orders shipped and what is your return policy?
All orders ship fully insured via FedEx overnight. We provide a free insured shipping label for all outbound shipments. All returned goods are re-tested with the Synth Detect machine upon receipt. Contact our team for full return terms.
